Daycare Staff

The staff at Miss Chris and Miss Joan's Group Family Daycare is highly trained and qualified to work with young children. The Director, Joan Kerrs, has a bachelors degrees in early childhood education, as well as over 30 years of experience in early childhood education.

Most of our staff have bachelors degree's and/or associated degree's in early childhood education or similar fields. We also have, on-staff, a New York Sate Certified special education teacher as well as a NY State Reading / Literacy teacher. All staff receives on-going training; 15 hours per year.

MICHELE KERRS (PROVIDER)

Miss Michele has worked at Miss Chris & Miss Joan's GFDC for the past 20 years. She graduated from Rockland Community College where she studied Early Childhood Education. She continued her studies at Ramapo College.

PEGGY CIPRIANO (PROVIDER ASST.)

Miss Peggy has worked at Miss Chris & Miss Joan's GFDC for over 15 years. She has a Bachelors degree from Post University. She continues to expand her education by continuing to attend professional development classes.
